Oak Park Elementary School Media Specialist Daniel Meo was recently awarded the Bright Light Award by the Association of Suffolk Supervisors for Educational Technologies. The Association of Suffolk Supervisors for Educational Technologies exists to enhance teaching and learning in Long Island and New York school districts through the use of computers and other educational technologies by encouraging the integration of technology into the P-16 curriculum and ensuring that our students are provided with the educational opportunities necessary to prepare them for careers and college.
Second grade students at Oak Park Elementary School recently explored the world of dance and ballet as they participated in the Art of Dance program.
Students in all grades at Oak Park Elementary School took part in the school's annual Recycling Costume Contest on Oct. 27.
